For Danny Bond, "Dance First, Think Later" is a mission statement. Operating under his Danny Does Disco artist name, he’s spent the better part of three decades deep in the UK’s electronic landscape. Starting out in the mid-90s spinning vinyl in Norwich’s underground scene, he’s since evolved into a seasoned producer and label head who knows exactly how to make the dancefloor move.
As a founding member of the Bassmonkeys, Danny spent years touring and dropping releases on Mark Doyle’s iconic Fierce Angel imprint. Today, that experience translates into a relentless output of funky, disco-infused, jackin' and tech house heaters under various aliases, including FLOKK and 88 REASONS.
2025 saw the launch of his new label, Dance First, Think Later (DFTL). Teaming up with Mike Chenery, Daysleepers, and WEZ-DJ, Danny has built a home for promoting new artists and delivering forward-thinking dancefloor weapons.
On the airwaves, he brings that same sharp ear to Select Radio. Each week, you can expect a curated mix of 15 upfront promos and fresh underground gems that deliver energy from the first drop.
